Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows–J.K. Rowling

This book is a snuff film. I’m serious. It starts out with everyone trying to get Harry out of Privet Drive before he turns seventeen and then BAM, two characters are dead and George has a hole in his head.

Then it slowly kills off random characters that you wouldn’t really care about, like Susan Bones’ aunt, minor characters.

It takes you through a journey where Ron, Harry and Hermione are no longer at Hogwarts. They are on the run because the Dark Lord has finally taken over the wizarding world and it’s a terrifying place to be a wizard. Hell, even being a muggle is scary, he’s taking out bridges and the Dementors are breeding so there is fog everywhere. Muggles are being murdered for no reason other than being regular people and wizards are dying because they are against Voldemort.

Harry, Ron and Hermione must find the Horcruxes in order to take down Voldemort for good. Too bad they have zero clue where they all are. Amidst all this there is a wedding, and a series of them getting caught and chased.

Then the epic battle which everyone knew was coming.

Where most of my favourite characters die one after the other. I don’t think I stopped crying during this book.

Snuff. Film.
