Let me just start by saying that I couldn’t finish this book. Not because I didn’t like it, not because it’s not a good read or because the storyline was weak or the characters were annoying, or the writer himself was doing a horrible job, but because this is a completely different world.
Not that that is a bad thing. I’m saying this because I’m 95% sure that I walked in near the tail end of this series/collection of books and I had no idea what was going on. It was the start of a new series called Transitions, but I’m pretty sure that they were all characters from his other book, so I have to start from the beginning.
Which I plan on because this seemed like it would’ve been a good read if I had any idea what was happening.
It was like walking into the middle of someones conversation.
I hate quitting on books and it nearly killed me to put this one down because I saw its potential to be a favourite. But alas, I move on begrudgingly…well, not so begrudgingly because Shutter Island was next on my reading list and I’m finding it an excellent read so far, even though my brain is still a little screwy.
Does anyone know what the beginning of this book collection starts with???
