Since I’m still reading ‘Unbearable Lightness’ by Portia de Rossi I thought I would give up the rest of my summer book list. The rest of these books I’m sure will be great as some of them are by my favourite authors, some are from authors who have slighted me in the past with less than great books but I’m willing to give them a second chance, and some…I’ve just been putting off since the beginning of time.
These are the books on the first half of my reading list:
1)Stories for Late at Night–Alfred Hitchcock
2)Elixir–Hilary Duff
3)London–A.N. Wilson
4)The Moon is Down–John Steinbeck
5)Jaws–Peter Benchley
6)My Booky Wook 2:This Time it’s Personal–Russell Brand
There’s the beginning and now here is the end of my summer book list:
1)In Cold Blood–Truman Capote
2)Reckoning–Kelley Armstrong
3)Awakening–Kelley Armstrong
4)Summoning–Kelley Armstrong
5)The Gathering–Kelley Armstrong
6)Changing Planes–Ursula K. Le Guin (Do I dare read a book by her again? Remains to be seen.)
7)V for Vendetta–Alan Moore and David Lloyd
8)206 Bones–Kathy Reichs (One of the authors that I wasn’t a fan of for awhile, giving her an honest second chance.)
9)Interview with a Vampire–Anne Rice (been putting this one off for awhile.)
10)Jane Eyre–Charlotte Bronte (to be fair this is a comic book my sister gave me, lol. I’ll read the real story after this.)
11)The Nasty Bits–Anthony Bourdain
12)Vampire Lestat–Anne Rice
13)Medium Raw–Anthony Bourdain
14)The Amber Spyglass–Philip Pullman (Been putting this one off too. No idea why, I liked the first two.)
15)Breathless–Dean Koontz
That’s the rest of them. Have you read any of these? Let me know! I’ll also be reading the Harry Potter series again this summer as the lead up to the final film. (*insert sobbing*)
…Now that I write these out it seems like a wicked amount of books…I wonder if I can finish them by the end of the summer….
What’s on your summer reading list?
