Stories for Late at Night–Alfred Hitchcock

I was really excited for this book, I thought it would scare the pants off me. Alfred Hitchcock is one freaky man, right? But alas, he didn’t write even one of these stories.

This book is a collection of supposedly scary short stories from other writers and I have to say…it was boring. I got through about three of them before I decided to call it quits.

Now that may not seem like I was giving the book a fair shake, but I couldn’t help but put it down. It was like pulling teeth for me. I hate when a book isn’t what it seems and ends up being torture instead of fun!

   Truly disappointed with this one.
