End of Summer Book List

The end of the summer is just a few weeks away, much to my dismay. I still have plenty of books to read and I’m heading into fall with some doozies.

Things are getting a little more romantic in the fall, and I think next summer I’ll boost these kinds of light reading into my book list because this year I had the attention span of a three year old.

Here it is, the end of my summer book list:

1)Breathless–Dean Koontz

2)The Gathering–Kelley Armstrong

3)The Hunger Games–Suzanne Collins

4)Catching Fire–Suzanne Collins

5)Mockingjay–Suzanne Collins

6)Legend–Jude Deveraux

7)Catch-22–Joseph Keller (a book which feels like it’s been on my book shelf since the dawning of time.)

8)Jane Slayre–Charlotte Bronte & Sherri Browning-Erwin (a re-imagining obviously.)

9)Opus Dei–John L. Allen Jr. (I can’t see myself getting very far with this one unless he somehow makes it unboring. I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought some of these books…must’ve been after my Dan Brown phase.)

10)A Knight in Shining Armor–Jude Deveraux

There are about 40 more books after these ones, but these are the realistic ones that I think I could finish by the official end of the summer. At least 5 by the time school starts for everyone.

Enjoy the end of summer. I’m thinking I’ll be back in the fall to tell you all about my books. September 1st. Mark it down, I’ll be making a full comeback with writing about books.

Unless of course I find some other television show that’s just as idiotic and addicting as The Secret Life.

  1. Ahhh The Hunger Games series is awesome!! If you haven’t read it yet, you could probably read all three books in a weekend. You’ll want to, too, because they end on cliffhangers. 🙂

    • I want to keep reading them, but I don’t want anything else bad to happen! I’m only on Catching Fire, and I want her to be with both of the guys but I don’t see how that can happen! Although I do have a serious crush on Peeta just because of the first book where he’s covered himself in mud and stuff like that. He’s hilarious.

      • Peeta is pretty hilarious. I also like that he’s a baker’s kid and his name is basically “pita”…

Anyway, I know what you mean when you say you don’t want anything else bad to happen. And it’s gonna, I won’t lie. I won’t spoil anything, but I think they’re definitely worth finishing!
