The Kane siblings are trying to find Ra so that they can protect the universe (not just the world) from Apophis. That’s the entire gist of the book. They’ve recruited other magicians and now have a small army of people that are learning magic from them.
I liked this one better than the first, but I think that’s because I knew what to expect and the characters were the same, with a few added bonuses.
Again, it was funny, well written and just what you would expect from teenagers if they were faced with the hard task of finding a God that has been sleeping for ions. Interesting fact and fiction in here and a definite good read. I recommend this new series for sure and I’m looking forward to moving on to his next series The Heroes of Olympus.
For now, I’ve finished reading ‘Holly’, which still makes me laugh to no end. And I’m currently reading Debbie Macomber’s ‘A Perfect Christmas’ which is slightly predictable, but still amusing.
What’s everyone enjoying on this snowy weekend?
