Classic, Kids Books

The Secret Garden–Frances Hodgson-Burnett

This has been on my shelf for ages and I’ve never picked it up. I think that’s because I saw the movie when I was younger and the Colin character made me hate children a little bit. Even when I was a kid I wanted to kick that kids ass.

But reading a book is always entirely different than watching a movie. This book was lovely and well written. If I had read this as a child I’m sure that I would have turned out a lot better and a lot less foul-mouthed. Haha.

I want to make sure that all the little girls in my life read this because it teaches you so much about being a good person and being human.

This book was wonderful and I’m glad that I can pass it back over to my sister after years of neglect on my shelf.
