This is a book fiends dream book.
It’s ABOUT books for Christsake! And the writing was lovely. I took my time reading this one because it was so nice.
It’s about an old woman, who is a famous writer, that wants a nobody biographer to write her real story. Finally. She’s been lying to people for years about her life story and now wants to tell the truth. I assume to basically free herself from the burden of the past before she dies. (It’s coming up on her fast.)
This book tells the story of how the famous writer, Vida Winters, becomes who she is an reveals who she actually was in the past and unravels things about her family that have been a mystery for decades.
Another brilliant book. I highly recommend this for book lovers.
