Hello Little Ducks:
I’m terrified. Really scared. Pee your pants, sleep with the light on, only watch rom-com’s after 5 pm, scared. This book I’m reading is freaking me out! So much so that last night after I had put on my whitening strips for my teeth that I almost didn’t leave my bed to clean my teeth! I wanted to hide under the covers with Pooh Bear and Doomsday and never leave.
I’m reading “What the Night Knows” by Dean Koontz, and I was ready to be freaked out. It’s about murder and possession. So those things, hand in hand, make me want to wet the bed.
I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought this book! It must have been during the summer when the days are longer and I’m prone to wanting to get spooked.
What books do you find scary? Are there any that you have never fully gotten over? I’m still terrified of the movie The Woman in Black. Every time I turn off the basement lights I picture that scary as all hell woman standing in the corner of the room. It takes every ounce of self control to not run up the stairs at full tilt, thus weirding out my mother and dogs.
