I love how real Ellen is. I remember watching her as a kid and thinking I wanted to be just like her. She’s funny in a way that’s lovely and kind and not brash and rude like most comics and I appreciate her lightheartedness in the sea of people who are constantly trying to shock you into laughter.
This book was great to read and had everything you could ask for. (Including pages to entertain your children! Or adults who like to colour.)
So well written that I’m looking forward to reading her older books!
She talks of the stress of American Idol, whilst still having a ball, and her show, and Portia, and everything in between. It’s truly great to read something so sweet and love filled while still seeing her goofy spirit.
