I was on a roll with great books when I read this and this didn’t ruin my streak. It’s about two women who meet on the beach of Nigeria and the events that happen afterward. Not a true story. I don’t know why I feel compelled to tell you that, but I do.
I liked the characters, I was interested in their stories, and this was another book that made me feel feelings out loud.
It did kind of piss me off because there wasn’t a definite ending and I hate when I’ve followed an author through a book like ‘Yes! Yes! This is wonderful! You’re great!’ and then all of a sudden you’re like ‘Excuse me?! That’s it! But I trusted you!’
Even so, read it, it was good and I definitely look forward to reading more of his stuff.
Constant vigilance.
